About
Where We Dwell
Where We Dwell is a slow-living lifestyle blog for women who hold elegance and grit in equal measure. Rooted in the rhythm of Scripture and styled through the lens of boutique travel, motherhood, and home, we create space for women to reconnect…with themselves, their families, their faith, and the beauty of the everyday. Whether it’s a book in your carry-on or a new season in your soul, Where We Dwell exists to walk with you wherever life calls you to land.
Our brand speaks to the woman who’s lived a little. She’s stood at the corner of city streets and country roads, boardrooms and breakfast nooks. She loves good shoes and soul changing devotionals. She homeschools with intention, travels with curiosity, and knows how to host a dinner party that makes people feel seen. She’s not chasing trends; she’s curating a life.
Where We Dwell is where faith meets fashion, tradition meets movement, and womanhood means something eternal.
Meet Kristi

I’m Kristi, wife, mother, homeschool teacher, and creator of Where We Dwell. But before any of that, I was a woman searching for home in a world that made me feel like I had to choose between ambition and motherhood, between beauty and depth, between my faith and my voice.
For years, I wore the heels, led the meetings, climbed the ladder; and quietly wondered if I could also raise a family that was rooted in truth. When I left the boardroom for the breakfast table, I thought I was walking away from purpose and turning my back on a piece of me. What I didn’t know then was that I was stepping into my real life.
Not long after that, our family traded palm trees for pastures…leaving Southern California for the slow, rich soil of East Tennessee. We came looking for a simpler life, but what we found was a deeper one. One where mornings start with Scripture and coffee while gazing at the Smokies. One where I can homeschool my daughter with intention and still hold space for beauty, curiosity, and calling.
I created Where We Dwell for women like you! Women who are raising babies and building lives with care, who pack snacks and dreams in the same bag. You love your family fiercely, but you also miss the parts of you that used to feel more… radiant. You crave adult conversation. A pretty blouse that isn’t from a Target. A trip that doesn’t involve chicken nuggets and water parks. You want to be the mom who reads aloud and knows where her passport is. You want a life that feels whole…not just productive.
I get it. I’ve cried over lesson plans and logistics, prayed through long nights and long division. I’ve googled “how to homeschool a strong-willed child” and “best moisturizer for tired moms” in the same hour. (BTW it’s tallow) And I’ve also learned that God meets us right here. In the mess, in the beauty, in the tension between who we were and who we’re becoming.
Where We Dwell isn’t just a blog. It’s an invitation to live deeply, love well, and dwell fully in the life God has given you. And if no one’s told you lately: you’re doing better than you think.
Welcome home.
