For me, Where We Dwell is a love story. Not just the one I live with my husband and daughter, but the one I’ve written with my whole life. Born in Los Angeles, raised with city soul and rural wisdom, I found beauty in the fast lane; working with brands like BCBG and Ann Taylor, dabbling in modeling, consulting in medicine, and flying high through airports and deadlines.
But then I met him, my one and only love. We got married, lived a life on the go, and then moved South with our beautiful daughter. I traded boardrooms and backdrops for homeschool schedules, baking days, and slow weekends under Tennessee skies, and I’ve never felt more at peace.
Where We Dwell is me. All of me! It’s the food I love to make (cookies, gumbo, cupcakes; always from scratch), the books I can’t stop reading, the devotionals that keep me grounded, and the pink lipstick I swipe on when I need to feel like me again. It’s for women like you, who’ve built careers, held families together, and now long for something deeper.
It’s where faith meets fashion, where travel has a heartbeat, and where homeschooling becomes holy ground. It’s slower, sweeter, and full of gratitude.
Jesus is King, my only salvation, my true constant. Everything else… the beauty, the rhythm, the sisterhood; flows from that.
